| PEEK bearings are self-lubricating plain bearings made of high-performance engineering plastics. Featuring high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and low noise, they can operate without lubrication and suit various harsh industrial working conditions as an alternative to traditional metal bearings. | |||||||||
PEEK bearings (including PEEK bushings and liners) are manufactured from polyetheretherketone (PEEK). Carbon fiber, graphite, PTFE and other modified fillers can be added according to working conditions via precision injection molding and CNC machining. Boasting a low friction coefficient, the products feature inherent self-lubrication and require no frequent oil maintenance. They deliver outstanding resistance to high temperature, abrasion, hydrolysis, acids and alkalis. With light weight, low noise, electrical insulation and non-magnetic properties, they can operate steadily under complex conditions such as high temperature, dry friction, chemical corrosion and clean vacuum environments. They effectively solve common drawbacks of traditional metal bearings including rusting, mandatory lubrication, poor heat resistance, heavy weight and high noise. Widely adopted in new energy, semiconductors, medical equipment, chemical industry and automation equipment, they achieve longer service life and lower overall operating costs.
1.Self-lubricating & maintenance-free Low friction coefficient enables dry running without oil, eliminating regular lubrication and oil contamination. Ideal for clean production scenarios and greatly cutting equipment maintenance costs.
2.High temperature resistance & stable dimension Continuous service temperature up to 260℃. Stable performance under short-term high temperature with low thermal expansion. No softening, deformation or loosening under high-temperature working conditions, suitable for diverse high-temperature industrial equipment.
3.Corrosion & hydrolysis resistance Resistant to acids, alkalis, organic solvents and high-temperature steam. Free from rust, swelling and cracking, perfectly suitable for chemical, water washing and humid corrosive environments.
4.Wear-resistant & long service life Modification with carbon fiber, graphite or PTFE enhances wear resistance. Minimal abrasion during reciprocating motion, with a longer service life than ordinary plastic and partial metal bearings.
5.Lightweight, low noise & electrically insulating Only 1/4 the weight of metal materials with vibration damping and noise reduction. Insulating and non-magnetic, applicable to precision electronic, medical and testing equipment.
1.Unfilled PEEK Bearings General-purpose grade with good toughness and stable chemical resistance. Suitable for medium & low load applications with no extra wear reinforcement requirements.
2.Carbon Fiber Reinforced CF-PEEK Bearings Enhanced mechanical strength and dimensional stability with higher load capacity. Ideal for heavy-load, high-pressure and precision transmission scenarios.
3.PTFE/Graphite Modified PEEK Bearings Lower friction coefficient and superior dry friction wear resistance. Priority choice for long-term oil-free operation.
4.Molybdenum Disulfide Modified PEEK Bearings Balanced strength and lubrication performance. Suitable for medium-speed and medium-load general industrial equipment with excellent cost performance.
Selection Tips: Determine the grade comprehensively based on load pressure, operating speed, working temperature, contacting media and lubrication requirements. Customized material solutions are available upon provision of working condition parameters.
