PSU polysulfone is an amorphous polymer with a glass transition temperature of 188°C. It is a transparent engineering plastic with excellent chemical resistance, rigidity, and temperature resistance. PSU has mechanical and electrical properties similar to PEI. Due to the presence of conjugated benzene rings and sulfone groups in the polymer, PSU profiles exhibit high resistance to acid and salt solution corrosion, as well as good resistance to detergents, hot water, and steam. Additionally, PSU has excellent radiation resistance and low levels of ionic impurities.
