The material exhibits low outgassing, excellent radiation resistance, and inherent flame retardancy without additives. JUTAIPEEK® NA Sheet is widely used for semiconductor fixtures, electrical insulation parts, wafer handling systems, aerospace structures, and customized precision-machined components requiring exceptional reliability and long-term performance. | |||||||||
JUTAIPEEK®NA Sheet is manufactured from premium virgin polyether ether ketone (PEEK) resin, one of the highest-performing semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastics available today. Developed for demanding applications requiring exceptional thermal stability, electrical insulation, chemical resistance, and machining precision, it provides a reliable alternative to metals and conventional engineering plastics.
PEEK belongs to the polyaryletherketone (PAEK) family and features an aromatic molecular backbone that delivers outstanding thermal and mechanical stability. Unlike many engineering plastics, PEEK maintains its performance across a broad temperature range from cryogenic conditions to elevated temperatures, making it suitable for use in some of the world's most challenging industrial environments.
Its unique combination of electrical, thermal, mechanical, and chemical properties has made PEEK a preferred material in semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, medical technology, industrial automation, and energy industries.
PEEK is recognized worldwide as a premium high-performance engineering plastic due to its exceptional balance of properties.
Continuous service temperature up to 260°C (500°F)
Melting point approximately 343°C
Excellent mechanical property retention at elevated temperatures
Maintains performance under repeated thermal cycling
Suitable for applications from -100°C to +260°C
PEEK is resistant to:
Acids
Alkalis
Hydrocarbons
Fuels
Lubricants
Industrial solvents
It remains unaffected by most industrial chemicals except concentrated sulfuric acid.
PEEK offers stable electrical performance under:
High temperatures
High humidity
High voltages
High-frequency operating conditions
Its excellent dielectric strength makes it an ideal material for electrical insulation and semiconductor equipment.
The material combines rigidity and toughness while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances under mechanical and thermal stress.
PEEK demonstrates exceptional resistance to:
Cyclic loading
Long-term deformation
Mechanical fatigue
making it ideal for critical precision components.
Excellent wear resistance
Low friction characteristics
Outstanding hydrolysis resistance
Long-term stability in hot water and steam environments
The aromatic molecular structure provides excellent resistance to:
Gamma radiation
Electron beam exposure
High-energy radiation environments
making PEEK suitable for aerospace, nuclear, and scientific applications.
Compared with metal components, PEEK offers:
Significant weight reduction
Corrosion resistance
Lower maintenance requirements
Excellent strength-to-weight ratio
Reduced smoke and toxic gas emissions
The material provides high dielectric strength and stable insulating performance under elevated temperatures, humidity, and voltage conditions.
Low moisture absorption, low ionic contamination, and low outgassing characteristics make it suitable for semiconductor processing equipment and cleanroom environments.
JUTAIPEEK® NA Sheet maintains tight dimensional tolerances even under thermal stress, enabling precise fabrication of critical components.
PEEK naturally achieves UL94 V-0 performance without additional flame-retardant additives, making it suitable for demanding electrical and aerospace applications.
The aromatic molecular structure provides excellent resistance to gamma radiation, electron beam exposure, and other high-energy radiation environments.
