Besides unfilled natural PEEK in beige color, a black version of PEEK sheet profile is also available. Beyond the typical PEEK characteristics, this black version offers improved UV resistance, making it an ideal material choice for outdoor applications. PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) Natural Sheet has excellent overall performance, good mechanical properties, high-temperature resistance, and outstanding chemical resistance.

The exceptional chemical resistance of PEEK allows it to effectively replace metals and stainless steel in harsh environments and has proven to be a reliable alternative to other materials costing up to 10 times more. PEEK is inert to all common solvents and can withstand various organic and inorganic liquids. This black PEEK sheet is a versatile high-performance plastic with excellent UV resistance, making it ideal for outdoor applications.

1. Heat Resistance: A high-temperature resistant thermoplastic resin with a melting point of 334°C. PEEK Natural Sheets have excellent high-temperature properties, with a glass transition temperature of up to 151°C, and a melting point of 348°C. The long-term use temperature recognized by UL in the USA is 260°C.

2. Flexibility: Among commercially available high-temperature resins, PEEK ranks among the best, outperforming polyimide and diphenyl ether resins.

3. Flame Retardancy: UL94 V-0 grade self-extinguishing, low smoke.PEEK rods are naturally flame retardant without the need for additional flame retardant additives. Samples with a thickness of 1.45 mm can achieve the UL-94 V0 standard, and the smoke emission is significantly lower than that of other types of resins.

4. Chemical Resistance: Dissolves only in concentrated sulfuric acid.Aside from strong oxidizing acids like concentrated sulfuric acid, PEEK exhibits chemical resistance similar to PTFE resin. It can maintain its mechanical properties in various chemical reagents, making it an excellent corrosion-resistant material.

5. Processability: Good flowability, suitable for secondary processing.PEEK can be directly molded into parts using injection molding techniques. It can also be processed through turning, milling, drilling, tapping, bonding, and ultrasonic welding.

6. Outstanding Mechanical Properties: PEEK is the material that combines toughness and rigidity most perfectly among all resins, with strength and fatigue resistance even superior to some metals and alloys.

7. Hydrolysis Resistance: PEEK maintains good mechanical properties even after long-term exposure to high-temperature steam and hot water, making it the best resin in terms of hydrolysis resistance.

8. Dimensional Stability: PEEK has an extremely low water absorption rate and linear thermal expansion coefficient, providing excellent dimensional stability in various application environments.

9. Electrical and Insulation Properties: Even under conditions of high temperature, high pressure, high speed, and high humidity, PEEK maintains excellent insulation and stable electrical properties.

10. Radiation and Weather Resistance: PEEK has excellent resistance to various types of radiation. It can withstand high doses of α, β, and γ radiation while maintaining its properties, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.

11. High Purity, Low Volatility, and Non-Toxicity: PEEK resin is inherently non-toxic, with a very stable molecular structure that makes it resistant to the generation of volatiles. It also has anti-radiation properties, and high-purity PEEK obtained through purification is an excellent material for biochemical and medical applications.

12. Wear Resistance: PEEK and its composites exhibit exceptional wear resistance in extremely harsh environments, including high temperatures, high loads, and strong corrosive conditions.

13. Self-Lubrication: PEEK has a low coefficient of friction, allowing for oil-free lubrication. It can operate for extended periods in mediums such as oil, water, steam, and weak acids and bases.

14. Corrosion Resistance: PEEK does not dissolve in ordinary solvents and shows good corrosion resistance to various organic and inorganic chemical reagents.

15. High Strength: PEEK has the best mechanical strength among plastics. It also has high rigidity and surface hardness.

16. Peel Resistance: PEEK has excellent peel resistance, making it suitable for use in thin coatings or electromagnetic wires, and can be used under harsh conditions.
