Cut-to-size supply, controlled annealing and precision CNC machining are available according to customer drawings and application requirements. | |||||||||
JUTAIPPS® NA is a natural beige, unfilled polyphenylene sulfide sheet designed for high-temperature electrical, semiconductor, chemical-processing and industrial equipment applications.
The material combines excellent chemical resistance, very low moisture absorption, inherent flame resistance and stable electrical properties.
Its dimensional stability makes it suitable for machining precision plates, insulating fixtures, structural supports, process components and equipment parts that must maintain consistent dimensions under heat, humidity or chemical exposure.
Standard JUTAIPPS® NA sheets are available in thicknesses from 6 to 100 mm, with a width of 620 mm and standard lengths of 1,000 mm and 2,000 mm.
PPS offers excellent resistance to a wide range of acids, alkalis, oils, fuels, hydrocarbons, coolants and industrial chemicals.
It is frequently selected for chemical-processing equipment and fluid-handling components where conventional engineering plastics may swell, soften or lose dimensional stability.
Chemical compatibility must be confirmed according to concentration, temperature, pressure, mechanical stress and exposure time.
JUTAIPPS® NA absorbs very little moisture.
This helps finished components maintain dimensions and electrical properties in humid environments, wet-process equipment and applications involving frequent cleaning.
Unfilled PPS provides excellent electrical insulation and stable dielectric properties.
Typical uses include:
• Insulating plates
• Electrical barriers
• Connector fixtures
• High-temperature electrical supports
• Semiconductor equipment components
• Coil and transformer supports
• Sensor mounting plates
• Test equipment fixtures
Natural PPS combines low moisture absorption, good creep resistance and relatively low thermal expansion.
These characteristics are valuable when machining precision parts with tight flatness, parallelism or positional requirements.
Controlled annealing may be recommended for parts involving extensive material removal, thin walls or tight tolerances.
PPS can achieve UL94 V-0 performance under applicable resin-grade and thickness conditions.
The relevant flame rating must be confirmed according to the selected material, product thickness and final application standard.
PPS sheets can be machined using CNC milling, drilling, routing, grinding and cutting.
Sharp tools, stable support and controlled heat generation are important when machining thin sections, narrow slots or tight-tolerance features.
JUTAIPPS® NA sheets can be machined into:
• Wafer-handling fixtures
• Semiconductor process plates
• Chemical-resistant fixtures
• Test equipment bases
• Insulating barriers
